If you are having issues with your HDMI connectivity on your Raspberry Pi, there are a couple of cross checking and validation that you can perform.
Checking the HDMI Cable connected to Raspberry Pi:
Many a times it so happens that the HDMI cable that you are using to connect between the Raspberry Pi and HDMI Monitor/TV could have got damaged. You can remove this suspicion by connecting the same HDMI cable across a different pair of electronic devices that are already working and see if they continue to work even with this Raspberry Pi HDMI cable.
Check the HDMI Mode and HDMI Output being set in your Raspberry Pi:
You can once again ensure that the HDMI Output is configured and enabled on your Raspberry Pi using the command:
tvservice -s
This command should tell you if the HDMI output is enabled for your Raspberry Pi and also mention what mode it is currently set to.
These are the two basic elementary verification and validation steps you should take when your HDMI fails to work on your Raspberry Pi.
Hope this helps!
