If you are trying to get the EmulationStation, an emulator of Sony Playstation running on your Raspberry Pi B+, chances are that it is running quite slow for you. So much slow that possibly even the Nintendo games plays choppy on your Raspberry Pi.
This kind of problem with slow run of EmulationStation on Raspberry Pi happens due to the slow speed response of your SD Cards. The SD Cards on your Raspberry Pi are unable to stream the game data at enough speed for your Raspberry Pi to emulate the Playstation on your EmulationStation build.
To overcome this problem, we advise you to move the EmulationStation ROM out of SD Card to an external storage device such as USB HDD or an USB stick. USB memory storage device speeds on Raspberry Pi are much better than that of SD Card on Pi and thus should help in improving the performance of the EmualtionStation games on your Raspberry Pi.
