If you are trying to lose weight by performing certain weight loss program or implementing simple cardio exercises in your daily exercise routine, it is quite obvious that you are also controlling your diet accordingly.
However, if you have been an avid coffee drinker all through your life, chances are that it would seem quite impossible for you to quit consuming it as you are already addicted to caffeine to keep you alert all the while. Hence, it begs a question as to how much coffee you can drink a day without creating a severe impact on your quest to weight loss.
Luckily, recent studies have shown signs that consuming coffee or any other caffeine beverages does not really harm your weight loss journey but rather boost it in a way, when consumed in moderation.
It has been noted that by consuming caffeine, fatty acids responsible for breaking down the fat cells in your body is stimulated further, thereby helping you in your weight loss process.
On an average, it has been estimated that consuming about 2-3 cups of coffee/caffeine is tolerated by the body without causing any significant impact on your weight loss progress. Anything more than that could have an adverse effect to your body weight and hence not advisable.
Another important point to note here is that you should avoid consuming coffee with sugar and try to go with black coffee as much as possible. As sugar is the main culprit that can trigger insulin spikes in your body thereby preventing fat loss, avoiding sugar in your coffee is very much advisable.
On the other hand, if you have never been a coffee drinker and not addicted to any form of caffeine in your life, you don't have to start consuming coffee just for weight loss process. You will do just fine without any caffeine stimulation to your body.
