Huawei, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer had just announced a release event scheduled on April 6th for an unknown smartphone model. However, the current leaks of pictures of technical specifications point this to Huawei P9 Lite model, a budget friendly version of the premium Huawei flagship smartphone - Huawei P9.

According to the leaked specifications, Huawei P9 Lite smartphone still manages to hold onto a very impressive technical specs. matching the flagship Huawei P9 smartphone specifications to a closer percentage.

Huawei P9 Lite is said to boast 3GB of RAM, fingerprint sensor just like the flagship Huawei P9 smartphone and the same 5.2 inches capacitive touch screen  display bearing 1080P resolution. The only thing downgraded in this lighter version of the Huawei P9 Lite smartphone is the single rear camera and a slightly lower powered smartphone processor. Huawei P9 Lite smartphone is also made up of the aluminium body just like that of the flagship Huawei P9 smartphone.

If all this leaked information regarding this Huawei P9 Lite specification is true, then Huawei can still set a precedent in 2016 for all other manufacturers to catch up and continue to compete for their position in the mid-priced smartphone segment.
