Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer HTC has started pushing Android 6.0 Marshmallow updates to its HTC Desire 816 customers today.
This version of the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for HTC Desire 816 is said to over 1 GB in size. So in order to receive and successfully install this update, the users need to ensure that the battery in their HTC Desire 816 is full and the network in stable. It is advisable that the user receive and perform this update when being connected to a stable WiFi network that does not give network disconnection issues.

HTC has been quite aggressive in pushing its existing HTC smartphone users to the latest version of Android OS - Android 6.0 Marshmallow for some time now. So far, HTC has pushed these updates to HTC devices including HTC One M9, HTC One M8 and HTC Desire EYE.
However, HTC is yet to push Android 6.0 Marshmallow updates to its other line of HTC devices that includes HTC Desire 820 and HTC Desire 826.
