C25K is the most recommended running program for an absolute beginner entering into the running world.
C25K aptly called Couch To 5K marathon running program starts with a simple running routine that goes like run for 60 seconds and then walk for next 90 seconds. This routine is repeated for several intervals of time and at for many days.
