We have been looking for an answer to this question of getting Windows 10 Mobile upgrade for Lumia series of Windows Phone devices that are specifically attached to TracFone Wireless.
In addition to this, Microsoft has also made available Windows Store Upgrade Advisor app which can be downloaded from Windows Phone app stores onto any Windows Phone. If that particular Windows smartphone is eligible for this Windows 10 Mobile upgrade, this app will say so.
However, there has been some confusion for the TracFone Wireless users who happen to own a Lumia Windows Phone that are eligible for Windows 10 Mobile upgrade. As these Windows smartphones are tied up to the service provider TracFone Wireless, are these smartphones too expected to receive this Windows Mobile 10 upgrade?
While we do not have an official statement from TracFone Wireless, we got to know asking around several smartphone forums that earlier smartphone users who had a similar arrangement with TracFone Wireless did receive several updates directly through their WiFi and built-in Update Phone function. So we are expecting a similar upgrade option to come for Windows 10 Mobile upgrade for Microsoft Lumia series of Windows Phones.
