Android has tremendous amount of customization support built into the OS. One such support is making a custom Alarm ringtone from your favorite music file. Here, we are going to discuss on how you can set your favorite music as your daily wake up alarm tone on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.
Locate the music file that you want to set as your alarm tone. This file can be of any valid music file including MP3 file, Ogg file etc.
Next, create an empty directory on your smartphone called Alarms if not already present. You can perform this operation by using any of the File Explorer application available in the Google Play Store. In our case, we chose to use ES File Explorer to achieve this operation.
Now copy and paste the music file to your recently created Alarm folder again using ES Explorer app.
Next, play this music file using the default ES Explorer Music Player.
In the same music player, go to settings and chose ringtone. Now you will find an option to choose "Alarm".
That's it! Your Alarm can then be used to select this file as your default ringtone for your daily alarm duties!
